In surah Al-Falaq, Allah the Almighty tells us to seek refuge with Allah from certain things including:

_“And from the evil of the envier when he envies”_.
وَمِن شَرِّ حاسِدٍ إذا حَسَد.
(113:5)

The Messenger صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم said:
_‘the evil eye is real’_ (Sahih Muslim - 2188)

A private life, is a safe life. Kill your ego!
