Because Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life, and as a church we behold Him as our husband, the element of truth is vital in relationships.
👌Our culture has set a bad standard, that if you do not lie to a woman, you will not have her exactly where you want her to be.

👉Therefore in that process of wooing and pursuing her, everything said is false. You find so many relationships are built on lies. If such a relationship grows into marriage, it will certainly hit the wall.

Now I will take this a notch higher. Imagine a Christian man, ending up with an overly sexual woman. Perhaps the man tries to set a standard with his wife, honey moon is hyped up. But sexually he cannot keep up the four times in a day that the woman has gotten accustomed to. But since it is in the nature of men to be egoistic, this man strives to up his game every day.
👉At the end of the day, that is not who he really is. Yet if the truth was let out from the start, citing his expectations, and perhaps let it out, that you know what this is what I can do. So you find women complaining ‘he used to do this and that’ honey! That is not who he really was. If the truth had been uttered out earlier, the woman would know, and there would be no
frustration.
